Starbucks always believes that businesses can - and should - have a positive impact on the communities they serve.
So ever since we opened our first store in 1971, we dedicated ourselves to earning the trust and respect of our customers, partners and neighbors. Starbucks at Eastern and Bonanza donates coffee and supplies for Lit Night, Stories and Snack, and other family events for Walter Bracken. |
Since 1962, Target has committed 5% of its income to support communities. Today, that totals more than $3 million in giving every week. We're excited to announce a new chapter of that commitment: our pledge of $500 million by the end of 2015 to support education and help kids learn to read. Bracken has received a portion of this funding to support our STEAM Night and Stories and Snack program.
